Moritz Greve

Before embarking on an eight-year career with Apax Partners and setting up Maxburg Capital Partners in 2014, Moritz Greve can look back on a career with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley after having initially started off with Sparkasse Münsterland Ost. Moritz holds an MBA from Insead as well as an MA in Management Studies (ESCP-EAP). During his period with Apax Partners Moritz was primarily involved with investments in retail and service sector companies with a predominantly German and international geographic focus.


Dr. Felix Treptow
Partner
 

Before joining Maxburg Capital Partners Felix Treptow spent seven years with the transaction team of Orlando, an independent private equity firm that focusses on special situations investments in the German small and mid-cap arena. Prior to that he was part of the M&A advisory team of Goldman Sachs for two years. Felix studied at LMU Munich, UC Berkeley and LSE. He holds an Honours Degree in Technology Management from CDTM.


Dr. Benjamin Moldenhauer
Partner

Ben Moldenhauer joined Maxburg Capital Partners in 2015 and previously headed the expansion of Better Capital, a UK restructuring fund, into the German market. Between 2008 and 2014 he was a member of the transaction team of Orlando, a private equity firm focussing on midsized companies. He started his career with the M&A department of Goldman Sachs. Ben Moldenhauer studied business administration at the European Business School (ebs), Oestrich-Winkel (Dipl.-Kfm.), and at the Katz Graduate School of Business, University of Pittsburgh (M.B.A.). He holds a PhD degree from TU München.


Tim Husmann
Partner

Before joining Maxburg Capital Partners in 2023, Tim Husmann led the Corporate Development team at Voith Group, covering M&A, Strategy and most recently Sustainability. Prior to that he was responsible for global M&A at industrial gases company, Linde. Tim worked in Singapore for eight years, in investment banking for Goldman Sachs and strategy consulting for Monitor. He studied in Cologne, Prague and Singapore and took part in an executive education programme at the University of Oxford. Tim is a CFA Charterholder.


Georg A. Landesvatter
Partner

Georg became a member of the Maxburg Capital Partners team in 2014. He is focused on topics in the software, technology and IT-service space. Previously, he worked as a strategy consultant at Oliver Wyman. In that role, he advised international retailers, financial institutions and automotive OEMs. Georg studied electrical engineering at TU München, UC Berkeley and KTH Stockholm. In addition to his Dipl.-Ing. degree, he holds an Honours Degree in Technology Management from CDTM.


Tobias Püschel
CFO

Prior to joining Maxburg Capital Partners, Tobias Püschel worked as CFO at BID Equity. Before that he gained experience in structuring leveraged buy-outs at NORD/LB. Tobias studied business administration at the KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt, Hanken School of Economics and at Harvard. He holds a bachelor and master of science degree in FACT (Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Tax).


Maximilian Geueke
Investment Director

Maximilian Geueke gained first M&A experience in the transaction services division of KPMG as well as in the investment banking division of Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Just before joining Maxburg Capital Partners in 2017, he co-founded a start-up as part of the incubator program at the TUM Entrepreneurship Centre. Maximilian Geueke holds a bachelor degree from the University of Amsterdam and completed his Masters degree at the London School of Economics.


Michael Brand
Investment Director

Prior to joining Maxburg Capital Partners, Michael Brand spent two years with Credit Suisse in Frankfurt. Before that he gained initial insights into private equity with AUCTUS in Munich. Besides, Michael gathered additional entrepreneurial experience as co-founder of a social media startup. Michael started his studies at the USC Marshall School of Business in Los Angeles before obtaining his degree in International Business at Munich Business School.


Philipp Conrads
Investment Manager

Prior to joining Maxburg Capital Partners, Philipp worked at strategy and corporate finance boutique Rautenberg Moritz in Frankfurt. Before that he gained experience in investment banking at Credit Suisse, asset management at Wagner & Florack, consulting at KPMG and completed his traineeship at Kreissparkasse Köln. Philipp holds a Master’s degree in Finance from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management.


Christian König
Investment Manager

Prior to joining Maxburg Capital Partners Christian König worked for VTC, a private investment holding. During his studies Christian has already been part of the Maxburg team as an intern and additionally gained further initial insights to the private equity business, amongst others at Waterland Private Equity and the Leveraged Finance Division of Unicredit Bank. Christian holds Bachelor degrees in Economics and Business Administration and a Master of Science degree in Finance & Accounting from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.


Luca Eberl
Investment Manager

Prior to joining Maxburg Capital Partners, Luca Eberl worked at AUCTUS Capital Partners. He also supported the M&A and business development activities of a German food manufacturer. Luca studied business administration at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management.


Marius Haisch
Investment Manager

Prior to joining Maxburg Capital Partners, Marius Haisch worked as part of the AURELIUS investment team. Before that, Marius was responsible for all M&A activities of a portfolio company in the Business Services sector of AUCTUS Capital Partners. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).


Claudia Marciniak
Senior Accountant

Before joining Maxburg Capital Partners, Claudia was an independent accountant. She worked for various investment firms and medium-sized companies. Her responsibilities included the control and organization of accounting, the preparation of annual financial statements and cooperation with tax consultans and auditors. Claudia is a certified accountant (IHK).


Marie Hofmann
Back-Office

Since March 2021 Marie Hofmann is supporting the Maxburg Capital Partners team in all back office activities. Before joining Maxburg Capital Partners, she worked, inter alia, for Microsoft Deutschland GmbH and for a management consultancy in Munich. Marie has a background in the hospitality sector.


Florian Seubert
Venture Partner

Florian Seubert is co-founder of zooplus AG, an S-DAX publicly listed online retailer (Market Cap >  € 400mm; Total sales > € 500 mm). Between 1999 and 2013 and whilst serving as CFO, zooplus developed from a 4-person start-up to European market leader with a presence in more than 20 countries. Before setting up zooplus, Florian worked for JPMorgan Securities in London and New York. Florian holds a degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Oxford University and has been an active investor in the German small cap scene since the late 1990s.
